Living and creating in Lincoln, Rhode Island.

Hello, I am Eileen

I am a self taught improvisational quilter (occasionally a pattern user), and have a Long Arm Quilting business out of Northern Rhode Island. I’m lucky to design, create and sew from my home studio. Sewing is what keeps me hopping out of bed in the morning, sewing is on my mind all the time: designing, planning, observing and how those things that move me can be translated into a comforting, beautiful quilt.

I began sewing in my home economics class in 7th grade at Litchfield Middle School in Connecticut. I chose to make a teddy bear and I was thrilled when it looked-like-a-teddy bear. I was hooked. My siblings began having children and I began making my own patterns for many dolls, a monkey, small baby blankets. Once I began college I found sewing, all by hand, quilts for my apartment, pillows for my bed and anything else I could sew. I was then gifted my first sewing machine, a White brand machine, very basic. I called it the Speed Machine, because it wouldn’t sew unless I put the pedal to the metal.

I have many years experience sewing everything from dresses to seat cushions to quilts and so on. If you are looking for an individual, one of a kind quilt or you need your quilting masterpiece longarm quilted I can help you out.
